I personally do not buy newspapers, however sometimes I collect Metro because it is free and I check the horoscope page and sometimes news if the front cover looks interesting or if it is prominent. No one that I know actually spends money to buy newspapers, they either collect a free one or check online which is a lot more easier as it is free.
The news sites I go onto are either Google News or The Guardian. This is because I find that these sites are trustable and a lot of people view them as they are very popular.
The objectivity of the news does matter because it tells me whether I should actually read the news or not.
